Lunch Date

You have probably been wondering where I have been this last week...SPRING BREAK. NUF SAID. Dave took off a few days as well so we could have a few dates as the kids were in school/daycare. We spent a few days hanging out, shopping for us and the kids and ofcourse trying out some restaurants. We celebrated his 40th birthday and also our upcoming 11th wedding Anniversary. Yup- I said 11th!
One place that we tried was Carol's Creek. We actually were going to go here a few times before but we always ended up eating somewhere different. This time, we actually stuck to the plan and decided to go to downtown Annapolis since it was gorgeous! We had a fabulous time and the food...oh...the food. So good. So good. Dave had the rockfish which had a very light crunch to it, creamy risotto, spinach and lump crab meat! I decided to get the shrimp salad and it was jumbo shrimp in a light old bay seasoning...so good. Did I mention how good it was? We will be back.
Do you see the Naval Academy behind me! This has got to be our most favorite place to walk around, site see, watch boats and of course EAT.
